All of our lesson horses at Hidden Knoll have horse show experience and can walk, trot, and canter. While Finnegan now specializes in young children, the rest of our horses can jump courses complete with flying lead changes.
We take pride in the quality of our horses and strive to provide our customers with a safe and comfortable learning environment. If you think our horses are cute in their pictures, you should come out and meet them at the barn! Don't forget to bring them a treat!

My name is Finnegan and I am proud to teach the youngest riders at Hidden Knoll. Over the years I have been the "starter horse" to many riders. People who have ridden me say that I am "dependable, safe, and sweet." I am very patient with new riders and am very good at making kids feel safe and comfortable. I used to do a lot of jumping, but I am so good with new kids that I am usually pretty busy with them. |

I am Frank and I am a very easy-going kind of guy. During my career I have successfully shown on the 'A' circuit in both the Children's and Adult's (3') Hunter divisions. I am very good at my job and will take care of my rider. When I jump,
the rider can tell me where to go and I get the job done beautifully! I am very automatic and love to show my riders how well I can listen. My laid-back personality makes me very lovable! |

My name is Player and I think of myself as an "all-around" horse! I have a very even temperament, which makes me safe for adult beginning riders, but I am also very good at jumping, which makes me suitable for experienced riders as well! I have experience on the 'A' circuit in both the Junior Hunters (3'6") and the Children's Hunters (3') which means that I know my job very well! I am a big, gray Warmblood and people often comment on how handsome I am! Just so you know ahead of time, I LOVE treats and will "ask" for one after we are done together, so please be ready! |

My name is Bart and I am very popular with the kids! I am a large pony and have shown in the Children's Pony and Short Stirrup divisions at horse shows. When you ride me, you will notice that I take my job seriously and always want to make people feel safe and comfortable! Kids love how laid back I am and how successful they feel when we are finished! I love it when you give me a pat or a treat (especially carrots) when I am done because I always try my best for you! |

My name is Rio and I am a sweet horse who is able to help more advanced riders. In horse shows, I have competed in the hunters, jumpers, and equitation divisions up to 3'6"! Talk about an all-around kind of guy! That is just my personality – I want to do whatever you would like! I am very steady and am gentle when I jump around courses! Teaching people to be better riders is easy for me because I am so patient and tolerant. Even though I am sweet enough to take care of beginner riders, my job is to help more advanced riders to get even better! |
